My brother Dick and sister Jeanne brought their families here in June for the wedding of Carole to Len Fuqua. The wedding and reception were in the 7th Ward building and was really lovely. Her kindergarten children and parents came!
The cake was especially delicious. It was white with lemon filling.
Carole had wanted daisies for flowers and we made shortbread cookies as well.
The patio at 7th ward was perfect for a reception and it was a really lovely warm sunny day.
Actually it was most unusual that we were able to have the wedding in the chapel but we did and it was very lovely.
Mom and Dad look very lovely as their last child is married!! Notice they are holding hands!
Then we went from Pacific Beach to our home on University City and took more pictures, opened gifts and had a lunch.

In the pictures are my brother Dick with wife Mary and children Roddy and Cheri. Jeanne's children Steven, Doug, Dave, Brian and Carole are on the couch. And Len has his brother for his best man. Other ones at the table are friends of Carole and Len.
The next day we spent at Pacific Beach on the beach and here comes Carole and Len!! They didn't want to miss being with the family.
Since Len was in the Navy, Carole and Len would now be living in Coronado, just across from the bay.
In the pictures are Mary, Dick's wife, and daughter Cheri, Jeanne and Stan and their boys Doug, Dave, and Brian and daughter Carole. Mom and Dad are there as are me and my children Linda, Johnny and baby Maria. Where is Richard??? Is he the picture taker?
